Energy Network Services (ENS) is a national, well-known and respected Application Engineering Management Company. We lead in the provision of innovative and cost-effective lighting and lighting controls services for improving energy performance for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities in the private and public sectors. Our expertise extends to all stages of an energy management project, planning, implementation, financing, and monitoring. ENS also provides solutions beyond building lighting and controls. These include, Smart City Solutions and EV Charger Deployment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough reviews of specifications and drawings.
  • Develop material take-offs, which entails obtaining pricing from supplier, participate in the development of project schedule and execution plan.
  • Coordinate price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects.
  • Review estimates with the Project Managers.
  • Attend site visits, reviewing and critically analyzing tender documents for unclear technical items.
  • Prepare proposals by organizing all material, equipment, labor, and subcontract costs needed to complete the project
  • Coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to assist with building quotes
  • Track all bids, proposals and regularly communicate with Project Managers and other colleagues as needed
  • May assist with business development or new customer generation
  • Attend kick off meetings
  • Maintain and analyze reports

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Certified Engineering Technologist, 309A Electrical License or Electrical Certificate of Qualifications preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in Electrical Installations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word,  etc).
  • Ability to estimate all types of projects and to coordinate and supervise group work effort.
  • Ability to work on the road and in office.
  • Powerline electrical experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Industrial and institutional electrical projects is required.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines / successful completion of deliverables.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent time management and coordination skills
  • Ability to follow health and safety protocol and assess potential safety issues at site.
