In most circumstances the minimum qualifications for a new non-credit appointment shall be the Bachelor degree and TESL Certificate with a supervised practicum; Master’s level qualifications in related areas – Applied Linguistics, English, Languages – shall also be taken into account; post-secondary teaching experience, especially in ESL / EFL, and particularly overseas, is very desirable.
