Expert Programmer Analyst

In collaboration with the Development Manager the Expert programmer analyst designs develops and enhances modern Web applications that support internal teams. The person in this role also acts as a technical coach to help strengthen practices and ensure solutions that are efficient scalable and aligned with business needs.

• Design develop and test Web applications for various internal groups.
• Recommend innovative and sustainable technology solutions.
• Estimate the effort required for each phase of development.
• Support and coach team members as needed.
• Provide application maintenance and participate in the 24 / 7 oncall rotation when required.
• Work closely with the development team to improve efficiency and ways of working.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and automation of compilation and deployment processes.

Qualifications :

A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English both orally and in writing with colleagues customers and other stakeholders in Quebec the rest of Canada and internationally.
