Description de posteYou will create detailed project plans including work breakdown structures, resource allocations, detailed budgets, schedules, and key milestones You will ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget You will manage various internal and external project teams to ensure client satisfaction as defined by performance, schedule and budget You will lead and support proposals of existing and new customers and review the administration of additional subcontracts You will stay on top of industry trends and work to identify and capture new business opportunities with existing and potential customers You will maintain accurate critical path schedule models and initiate appropriate corrective action plans to remain aligned with project deliverables You will work closely with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization and across cross‑functional teams by providing clear project expectations, recommendations, and project status updates, while striving to remove barriers to success Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Commerce (or a related field) or a Technologist diploma is required A PMP designation is considered an asset 5+ years of experience in a project management environment with large, cross‑functional projects Experience in defence, satellite communications, or other technology sector environments are considered an asset Able to exercise strong interpersonal skills, decision‑making abilities, and navigate ambiguity Willing and able to travel internationally Proficient using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, Project and PowerPoint A clear sense of urgency to achieve results. A “can‑do”, “let’s make it happen” attitude and a focus on a positive customer experience. Leads continuous improvement while focusing on relationship building and service excellence Demonstrated ability to develop and execute projects and process improvement initiatives including planning, requirement gathering, data analysis and reporting Flexibility and calmness in dealing with managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously with a track record of creativity and innovation in problem solving Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management Must be able to gather, prioritize and simplify complex information skillfully in terms for appropriate audience Ability to think proactively, critically and independently to make good decisions Excellent written and oral communication skills, with experience communicating effectively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the organization Ability to lead high‑performing teams to maximize individual and team outcomes Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to follow through and deliver results Ability to identify issues and apply standard project management policy, procedures and processes to resolve them Ability to reach out to colleagues or customers when issues are identified in order to develop solutions Our hiring process is designed to help us get to know you and discover if you are the best fit for our team.
