POSITION SUMMARY

Working graveyard shifts (11pm – 7 am), Conversions Staff are responsible for setting up and dismantling performance / game areas when Abbotsford Centre converts from hockey to concert or concert to hockey format. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position.

A typical shift includes

  • Setting up and dismantling equipment, chairs and applicable items for events
  • Adheres to safety practices and procedures under the supervision of the Operations Manager
  • Other duties as required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays and graveyard shifts starting at 11pm
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
