Job Overview:

Domus Building Cleaning Company Ltd. is looking for qualified Daytime Working Supervisors for an immediate position located within the Ottawa area. Domus has been in operation for over 50 years with more than 500 employees in multiple provinces and has an excellent reputation as a janitorial services provider.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervise coordinate and plan the work of employees

Conduct monthly inspections of the facilities (including monitoring inventory and supplies)

Ensure the proper maintenance of all cleaning equipment

Cleaning duties including but not limited to; mopping sweeping vacuuming dusting sanitizing

Completing orientation and training of all new staff

Complete and submit time-off requests disciplinary reports accident reports and other supervisor

Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as floor waxing carpet cleaning or

Monitor and maintain Domus standards of cleanliness

Required Skills/Abilities:

Supervisor experience within the cleaning industry (commercial industrial or office)

Advanced reading writing and communication skills

Basic computer skills

Physical Abilities: standing kneeling walking up to 8 hrs a day

Capable of lifting up to 40lbs

Capable of completing repetitive tasks
