Profil

Based in Montreal, Aust Legal provides legal services in corporate law to its clients who operate in a wide range of sectors. The firm has developed cutting‑edge expertise in transaction and commercial law by supporting innovative companies that are leaders in their respective fields of activity. We are looking for a full‑time Junior or Intermediary Paralegal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the corporate documentation required for the incorporation, organization, amalgamation, reorganization and dissolution of companies, the amendment of articles of as well as the annual update of companies (Federally, in Québec and in other provinces);
• Draft resolutions of all types (annual and in the context of specific and complex transactions);
• Prepare forms for various provincial and federal authorities;
• Analyze and update minute books;
• Perform various administrative tasks.

Profile

• 2 to 9 years of relevant experience in business law;
• College diploma in paralegal studies (an asset);
• Mastery of computer tools, in particular MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.);
• Excellent writing skills;
• Ability to manage priorities, autonomy, and flexibility;
• Great ability to learn and adapt to change;
• A very good knowledge of French and English, spoken and written;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
• High level of professionalism, excellent judgment, ability to organize;
• Autonomous, focused on results and on the quality of the services offered.
