Description de posteProvides support in troubleshooting / repairs and system improvements (optimization) to ensure quality and efficiency Establish and follow-up project implementation, including timing, concept, feasibility design, specifications, construction and commissioning, as required Provides support in testing, repairing, and calibrating electric or electronic components Maintains and upgrades PLC software Analyze records, charts and all documentation required for maintenance records, projects and departments Prepares drawing material specifications to requisitions required by vendors or other departments Develops controls drawings and design concepts Deals with various venders; both supplier and equipment suppliers Responds to all maintenance requirements within the department Participate in ongoing cross-training, multi-skilling activities within the organization Demonstrates a sense of urgency in achieving results Ensures that all operator safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installations Knows and understands process documentation and customer specific requirements, as they relate to this job function Follows and complies with all Operational Procedures and Policies Adheres to Conestoga Meat's core values Performs other duties as required Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated and verifiable experience working in a manufacturing environment an asset Working Knowledge (oral / written) of both English and Mathematics Working knowledge of Safety Standards of Equipment PLC Programming and troubleshooting experience; Allen Bradley Ability to work in various locations within and outside the plant Good attention to detail, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work to deadlines and multiple demands Ability to uphold confidentiality Demonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environment Ability to work overtime to meet customer needs Ability to work independently and without supervision Commits to producing the very best output, while maintaining safety and quality. Shift Hours : 7 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm
Please Note : The successful candidate may be required to change rotations throughout the apprenticeship period to support training & development.
