Rate Group : $34.71 - $48.06 dependent on level
Shift Hours : 7 : 00 am - 5 : 30 pm
Please Note : The successful candidate may be required to change rotations throughout the apprenticeship period to support training & development.

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS / ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES :
Provides support in troubleshooting / repairs and system improvements (optimization) to ensure quality and efficiencyEstablish and follow-up project implementation, including timing, concept, feasibility design, specifications, construction and commissioning, as requiredProvides support in testing, repairing, and calibrating electric or electronic componentsMaintains and upgrades PLC softwareAnalyze records, charts and all documentation required for maintenance records, projects and departmentsPrepares drawing material specifications to requisitions required by vendors or other departmentsDevelops controls drawings and design conceptsDeals with various venders; both supplier and equipment suppliersResponds to all maintenance requirements within the departmentParticipate in ongoing cross-training, multi-skilling activities within the organizationDemonstrates a sense of urgency in achieving resultsEnsures that all operator safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications and installationsKnows and understands process documentation and customer specific requirements, as they relate to this job functionFollows and complies with all Operational Procedures and PoliciesAdheres to Conestoga Meat's core valuesPerforms other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated and verifiable experience working in a manufacturing environment an assetWorking Knowledge (oral / written) of both English and MathematicsWorking knowledge of Safety Standards of EquipmentPLC Programming and troubleshooting experience; Allen BradleyAbility to work in various locations within and outside the plantGood attention to detail, excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsAbility to work to deadlines and multiple demandsAbility to uphold confidentialityDemonstrates the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to work overtime to meet customer needsAbility to work independently and without supervisionKEY COMPETENCIES :
