As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer within our Ground Engineering & Materials team, you’ll bring your experience to high‑profile, technically complex, and meaningful infrastructure projects in the region. Based in Kelowna, Kamloops, or Castlegar, you will be part of a connected national practice while making a real on‑the‑ground impact in the communities you serve.

Your Impact

In this role, you will :

• Deliver geotechnical expertise on multidisciplinary projects—including highways, bridges, dams, buildings, tunnels, industrial facilities, and remote northern infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering staff and cross‑regional teams to develop innovative, practical, and sustainable geotechnical solutions.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical studies and engineering reports, offering clear, actionable recommendations grounded in field data and technical analysis.
• Lead or support geotechnical investigation programs, including scoping, bidding, procurement, and oversight of subcontractor activities.
• Assess and evaluate key geotechnical challenges such as settlement, liquefaction, slope stability, frost heave, groundwater flow, excavation considerations, and more.
• Manage field programs that may include drilling, in‑situ testing, CPT investigations, trenching, and construction QA / QC activities (e.g., subgrade compaction, geosynthetics installation).
• Contribute to project delivery excellence by ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and with exceptional technical rigor.
