Classic Fire + Life Safety is inviting applications for a Professional Engineer – Fire Protection. The role is based in the GTA, Ontario office.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Review and seal completed design documents and ensure projects are being completed efficiently and successfully per company standard operating procedures and in accordance with all codes and standards.
• Provide technical support, value‑added design evaluation, mentorship, and continual developmental coaching to Junior Designers.
• Conduct periodic field review of fire protection systems during their installation.
• Provide sealed field review reports to clients, architects, consultants, contractors, municipalities, etc.
• Evaluate field review reports to ensure conformance with all local codes, approved drawings, project specifications and contract documents.
• Work closely with all stakeholders, including the NSD team, sprinkler contractors, general contractors, architects, consultants, building owners, local building officials and fire inspectors to ensure the continued success of all projects.
• Other duties and responsibilities, pertaining to their expertise, as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
