Job Description

We are looking for a Sous Chef to join our team at La Palma. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate hospitality company driven by providing memorable dining experiences in downtown Toronto.

Candidates must have a passion for cooking quality dishes from scratch, and take pride leading our team of cooks in the execution of our fresh, local ingredient driven food program.

What You Bring :

  • An experienced Sous Chef who leads by example and takes pride in your craft
  • Strong knowledge of food cost, labor management, inventory, and waste control
  • Experience in training, mentoring, and leading a team of cooks
  • A calm and confident approach to high-volume service, leading with grace and adaptability
  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for fostering a positive team culture
  • A collaborative mindset—ready to work with our culinary leaders on menu development and innovation
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
