Field Safety Coordinator at OSCO Construction Group .

Location : Ontario, various project sites with regular travel between GTA and Southwestern Ontario. The role reports to the Director of Safety and supports safety training, program development, and implementation of local safety standards and procedures.

Job Description

The OSCO Construction Group operates in Ontario with locations in Woodstock and sites across North and Southwestern Ontario, including the GTA. We are a leading provider of architectural and structural precast concrete solutions and installation of structural steel infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Health & Safety training material, including facilitating safety orientations and other safety training
• Maintain regular site inspections to identify unsafe actions or conditions
• Investigate incidents / accidents, determine root causes, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to ensure resolution
• Participate in monthly Joint Health & Safety meetings and communicate safety information to management
• Collaborate with Field and Production Operations to update and maintain site safety manuals, policies, and procedures
• Create / update site-specific risk assessments, safe work practices, and emergency preparedness procedures
• Support preventative maintenance policy and procedures
• Review the effectiveness of the safety management system and propose improvements using KPIs
• Manage return-to-work programs to support employee recovery
• Maintain employee records and ensure training matrices are valid and up to date
• Manage data entry and maintenance of safety documentation
• Support investigation testing measures as required
• Travel within Ontario; a company vehicle is provided
• Additional duties as assigned
