The opportunity
The Director, Customer & Sales Operations at Teva Canada will oversee Customer Planning, Customer Service, and Sales Effectiveness for Teva’s generic portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director, Customer & Gx Sales Engagement the ideal candidate will develop and ensure effective execution of the annual sales operations plan and programs as per Teva Canada strategies and priorities. This leader will oversee teams that are working in close collaboration with key functions such as sales, supply chain, marketing, and finance.
How you’ll spend your day
Customer Planning & Service :
- Develop and execute high quality customer service plans
- Monitor customer inventory and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate and influence logistics and Global Operations to ensure timely order delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address corporate and retail customer issues, launches and adoption
- Ensure priorities are established and communicated with the supply chain team in the development and implementation of high-quality product forecasts using market data and product knowledge
- Collaborate with supply chain to establish healthy inventory levels and assist in resolving product write-offs, excess and supply chain issues
- Provide timely business intelligence and recommendations for sales opportunities and product supply
- Develop allocation plans to balance inventory and demand
- Lead quarterly and yearly strategy execution
Salesforce Effectiveness :
Prepare and review sales team forecasts and collaborate with relevant teams to create sales budgetsDefine product performance / territory reports and monitor results against strategic KPIsDeliver key sales information to stakeholdersDevelop, implement and monitor salesforce effectiveness programs and tools in collaboration with the sales leadership teamDevelop training programs and train Generics sales representatives on customer sales and profitability toolsAnalyze product profitability and recommend effective product mixes for all territoriesDevelop, maintain and implement customer and product segmentation tools to drive and incentivize profitable growthYour experience and qualifications
Strong ability to lead a dynamic team and manage employees (ideally 5+ years of proven leadership experience)8+ years in commercial operations, focusing on sales support, supply, demand planning, customer service and / or market data analysisStrong knowledge of business analytics in the pharmaceutical industryExperience in generic pharmaceuticals is preferredProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbility to handle ambiguous problems and influence othersStrong multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skillsLeadership, analytical, and communication skillsAbility to convert strategy into operational plansFrench is an assetTravel Requirements : 10-15%
