The Senior Accountant furthers the company's goals through the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, the analysis and reconciliations of accounts, and the analysis of cash flow, as well as the creation of budgets and forecasts, preparation of audits, and management of internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Candidates should excel at all levels of analysis. This full-time position includes solid compensation, good benefits, and the possibility to grow.

How you will make an impact

- Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations

- Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.

- Uphold company standards when working with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls; while also providing support on special requests when required

- Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary

- Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives

- Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

- Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP

- Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management

- Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external

-Evaluate KPI

Job Requirements:

- Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance

- 5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally in a larger corporate environment

- Proficiency with Dynamics

- Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

- Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

- CPA credentials are required

- US GAAP experience preferred

- Deep understanding of financial reporting

- General ledger experience

- Solid understanding of Dynamics GP

- Proven knowledge of budget forecasting

- General familiarity with Profitability Analysis

- Well-founded grasp of KPI Reporting

- Microsoft Excel experience preferred

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus

- Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload

- Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Accounting experience in publicly-traded company a plus along with project management experience

- Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well

-Advanced MS Excel
