Quality Control Technician
Milton- ONSITE
6 Month Contract
25-30 hourly
Primary Responsibilities / Tasks and Duties :
- Participates and maintains a quality culture
- Performs quality defect trend analysis & root cause analysis
- Participate & Lead Quality improvement projects
- Manage customer quality complaints using 3M Quality systems
- Handles non-routine and difficult inquiries
- Adapts differing techniques to develop solutions for complex issues
- Interprets policies and regulations, investigates problems to identify solutions
- Asist during internal, external and customer audits.
Other responsibilities :
Support DC operational activities as required to maintain service levels and workflow continuity.Qualifications & Experience :
Education Level : Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university in quality, operations or related field.2+ years of experience in quality and operations will be preferred.Preferred Qualifications :
Availability to travel up to 10% of the timePossesses exceptional customer service competenciesPossess understanding of Quality Management SystemsLogistics or Distribution experience a plusAbility to resolve conflicts effectively and take the initiative to resolve issues before they become problemsAbility to work in a high volume rapidly changing environmentAttention to detailExcellent communication skillsStrong team playerStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritizeClear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment and discretionPrefers to stay busy with a full workload and enjoys meeting challengesFrench and English bi-lingual is an assetOther :
