Computer Numerical Control Machinist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position for a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist located in Brampton, ON. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery; performing machining and milling; reviewing technical drawings; and overseeing quality control during the production process. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and an understanding of machinery function and safety protocols to ensure efficient and high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Experience in Machine Operation and working with CNC machinery.
• Proficiency in Machining and Milling techniques.
• Strong understanding of Quality Control and ensuring parts meet specified tolerances and standards.
• General knowledge of operating and maintaining various types of Machinery.
• Ability to read technical blueprints and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety standards and protocols in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Completion of a related technical program or equivalent work experience in machining or CNC operation is preferred.
