Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Data Entry Clerk for a 6 month contract in Markham. This is a hybrid role, Tuesday and Thursday no exceptions, must be able to come in those days.
There is a high possibility of contract extension.
Pay rate : $19.50 / Hour
Working Hours : Tuesday and Thursday 8 : 30 to 4 : 30, Monday, Wednesday and Friday- 9 to 5

Responsibilities
As a Data Entry Clerk, your duties will include but not limited to :
Reviewing regulatory forms and validating the forms to make sure they are completed
Morning team meeting, discuss what was done yesterday and the tasks to be done that day
Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of transactions.
Processing transactions accurately and on time.
Escalating processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained.
Following firm and industry regulations and operating practices.
Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives.
Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet SLA (Service Level Agreement) requirements and availability for Overtime as required.
Qualifications
Transaction Processing experience
Self- motivated / initiative
Fast learner
Strong communication- oral and written
MS office Suite
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in the finance department with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required).
2-4 years of related experience
Solid computer skills are required.
The successful candidate must be able to work well independently and as a part of a team
Must possess excellent organizational skills in order to successfully manage volumes and work efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
Must be accurate, resourceful and have a willingness to learn.
The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic individual who demonstrates the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
