The successful candidate will be available to cover day, evening and night shifts; inclusive of weekdays and rotating weekends. These may be in 8- or 12-hour shifts. Please note, schedule is subject to change based on operational needs. 48_Budget Created with Sketch.Compensation

Your strong clinical skills including your ability to coach and facilitate testing will ensure all of the day-to-day activities in the lab are performed. This includes equipment maintenance and calibration and other duties as required. You will also be responsible for maintaining high quality testing and results.
Requirements

Completion of a recognized respiratory therapy program. Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists and the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists. A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in a hospital setting. Current BCLS certification. BodyBox experience is required. 48_Creative Created with Sketch.Initiative
Evidence of continuing education and professional development. Demonstrated good attendance and performance records with the ability to maintain this same standard. Previous experience in pediatric testing and pulmonary function, methacholine, exercise induced asthma, critical care. setting and arterial blood gases; exercise oximetry for home oxygen will be considered an asset. An ability to work to work independently and within a team setting. Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative, communication, and organizational skills.
