COBOL Developer
Job Title : COBOL Developer (Job Reference #1862) www.peopletogo.com
Type : Contract - 3 months with possibility of a further 3 month extension
Location : Saint-Laurent, Quebec
Starts : April 16, 2012
Our client is seeking an experienced Cobol Developer to join the team in their Saint Laurent, QC location.
The contract is for 3 month with strong potential for it to be extended for a further 3 months.
Overview :
Our client is working on a project to integrate their external programs and dbases to tie PeopleSoft data to their Payroll system.
Required Skills and Experience includes :
- Excellent communications skills; French language proficiency with good English language skills
- Education : Relevant education should include a University Degree / College Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent work related experience
- Good working knowledge / understanding of Cobol, Excel and SQL-R as they will be using this technology to build code to tie the database information into a Payroll application.
- Experience working with PeopleSoft programs and data bases
- Experience working with payroll systems
