Senior Front-End, Web Applications Brampton (Hybrid) Survalent is a fast-growing software development company building modern, scalable, and mission-critical web applications for enterprise clients. As we expand our team, we are seeking an experienced .NET Web API Developer with deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem. As a React Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining user-facing features of our web applications, ensuring high performance and scalability, and helping evolve our front-end architecture. You will collaborate closely with product owners, UX designers, and back-end developers to translate business requirements into stable, elegant, and maintainable solutions. What will you be doing?

• Translate complex business requirements and UI / UX designs into high-quality, production-ready components.
• Build scalable, reusable front-end libraries and shared components.
• Implement strong client-side state management using modern patterns (Redux, Zustand, Context API, etc.).
• Contribute to front-end architecture decisions, including routing, state management, API integration, and building pipelines.
• Optimize application performance, bundle size, rendering speed, and responsiveness.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and WCAG compliance where needed.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code; participate in code reviews, maintain coding standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Debug and troubleshoot front-end issues; ensure reliability, accessibility, and maintainability. What are we looking for?
• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field
• Expert-level proficiency in React.js, including hooks, component patterns, performance optimization, and ecosystem tools.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript, including generics, interfaces, advanced typing, and scalable typing strategies.
• Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and modern styling frameworks (CSS Modules, Tailwind, Styled Components, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of front-end architecture, modular design, and clean code principles.
• Comfortable with RESTful APIs, async programming, and integrating with backend services.
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and modern DevOps workflows.
• 5+ years of professional experience building modern front-end applications.
• Experience with state management tools / architectures (e.g., Redux, Context API, or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, or relevant practical experience / projects.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g. playwright, Jest, or similar).
• Familiarity with modern front-end build tools and workflows (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm / yarn).
• Familiarity with micro-frontends, monorepos, or modular multi-package architectures.
• Experience using CI / CD tools and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of performance profiling and front-end observability tools.  This is a full-time permanent position reporting to the Team Lead of Web Applications.
