What are your contributions to the team?

• Maintain a structure of corporate entities worldwide and the corporate entities database
• Draft corporate documents and coordinate various signatures
• Assist with the preparation of annual continuous disclosure documents
• Assist with corporate restructuring activities such as incorporations, liquidations, mergers, dividends and capitals contributions
• Assist other members of the Corporate Legal Affairs team in various special projects
• Coordinate with our transfer agent
• Attend to the notarization and legalization of documents required for regulatory filings in foreign jurisdictions
• Attend to TSX and SEDI filings and various regulatory filings
• Assist other company’s departments with various needs (Treasury, Tax, Pension, etc.)

How to thrive in this role?

• You have obtained a diploma in paralegal studies from a recognized school in Quebec, Canada
• You have a good knowledge of corporate and securities laws
• You have accumulated at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a corporation or a law firm
• You can manage competing priorities in parallel
• You are fully bilingual (English and French) and possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• You demonstrate strong ability to work as part of an integrated team
• You show discretion and work in complete confidentiality
• You demonstrate sound judgement, act with tact and courtesy
• You work well autonomously and show initiatives
• You are familiar with most computer tools usually used in similar functions (e.g. Microsoft Office, including Excel and Power Point, etc.)
