The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager, the Commercial Property Administrator plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day management of approximately 20 commercial properties. This position provides a balance of administrative coordination, tenant communication, and financial processing within Yardi, along with operational support to the broader property management team.
You will be a central point of contact for tenants, contractors, and vendors, ensuring inquiries and service matters are handled promptly and professionally. The role includes managing tenant accounts receivable, processing rent and utility payments, maintaining accurate tenant records, supporting lease administration, and coordinating maintenance follow-up. You will also oversee documentation such as insurance certificates, utility tracking, meter readings, and key control, while assisting with reporting and general office administration.
What You Bring
Ideally, you are highly organized, detail-focused, and confident in managing multiple priorities. You bring experience in property administration or a similar role, have strong communication skills, and are comfortable working with financial data and tenant records. Experience with Yardi and solid Excel skills are important assets, but a proactive, problem-solving mentality and solid common sense are equally important. You are dependable, solutions-oriented, and take initiative to ensure tasks are followed through to completion. What We Offer
This full-time, on-site role in a dynamic urban community operates in a professional but casual office environment, with working hours typically 8 : 30 a.m. – 5 : 00 p.m. (some flexibility available). The position offers a competitive compensation package (salary starting at $55,000 commensurate with experience), including comprehensive health and dental benefits after probation, paid vacation plus additional time off during the holiday season, personal and medical days, mileage reimbursement for work-related travel, free on-site parking, and company-provided technology.
