Description de posteWelding, fabrication and repair of commercial transport equipment Replacement of wall panels on chip trailers, refrigerated trailers, and van bodies Ability to perform hydraulic repairs inclusive of trouble shooting Working knowledge of air and electrical systems Measurement and calibration of equipment Fabricate items based on blueprints, using strong knowledge of various weld form symbols Square up and weld various geometric components Proficient at flux core, metal core and aluminum welding Operation of overhead crane 3+ years of work experience in a fabrication, manufacturing or repair facility Welding ticket an asset but not required Strong Fabrication skills with mechanical aptitude Ability to read and interpret blueprints Ability to recognize and troubleshoot structural integrity repair needs while working independently Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure You are a team player who shares in our core values You put safety first for yourself and your co-workers always You show up each day with a positive attitude & outlook You are mechanically inclined and are committed to producing top notch quality You are organized and stay on track to get the job done right and on time You can communicate and write in the English language You are able to lift up to 50lbs & perform the physical requirements of the role Competitive pay that rewards you fairly for the work that you do A condensed work week that gives you more time off to chase your hobbies and spend time with family & friends Shift premiums & opportunities to generate overtime earnings when available Extended Health Care Benefits for you and your immediate family to enjoy We offer a group RRSP with employer contributions and TFSA options.
