We have industry experience in Indigenous services, automotive dealerships, medical professionals, legal professionals, insurance brokerages, not-for-profits, hospitality and tourism, real estate, construction, retail, and others.

Our growing Winnipeg office is a modern, newly renovated facility, situated in the vibrant downtown Sports Hospitality and Entertainment District.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

  • Working closely with partners and other senior staff to develop and implement effective strategies and tax planning assignments
  • Performing technical research, and developing and documenting tax plan recommendations
  • Managing a portfolio of tax services clients
  • Reviewing tax returns and other tax work prepared by staff
  • Identifying and cultivating new sales and / or client service opportunities
  • Managing engagement financials including budgets, WIP, variances and billing
  • Mentoring, training, and developing staff
  • Compiling feedback on staff performance throughout the year and conducting regular performance reviews
  • Leading practice and professional development initiatives

A successful candidate will have :

  • CPA designation
  • Experience working in public practice accounting
  • At least two years in a tax specialty role
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining trusted advisor relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to lead, mentor and develop others to build high performing teams
  • Project management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Business development skills are an asset
