We invite applications for a one-year teaching opportunity in the role of Senior Mathematics and Computer Science teacher, reporting to the Assistant Head of School and Director of Upper School. This contract position starts April 13, 2026 and ends April 2027.
Responsibilities
St. Anne's seeks an exceptional educator to teach Mathematics and Computer Science in the Upper School. Course assignments may include :
The teacher will collaborate with colleagues to uphold program excellence, maintain high standards for student learning, progress, and support, and demonstrate flexibility in course offerings. Instructional practices should be innovative and inclusive, aligned with department policies and the Growing Success criteria.
Qualifications
Candidates are required to hold a B.Ed., ideally with an Honours Specialist in Mathematics, and preferably be certified to teach in Ontario or be in pursuit of this designation. A thorough understanding of the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success requirements is essential. Other key requisites include demonstrated leadership and communication skills and a sustained commitment to professional growth and improvement.
Coaching
In support of our growing program, we seek coaches in various sports. Applicants are encouraged to include their coaching expertise and qualifications in their application.
Benefits
St. Anne's offers a competitive compensation package that includes the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Certified teachers are compensated using a salary grid based on qualifications and years of experience. The 2025-2026 salary grid range is $67,280 to $125,300.
