Payroll Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our clients team on a Part-Time contract basis in Surrey, British Columbia. In this role, you will oversee payroll processing across multiple locations and ensure timely and accurate payments. Responsibilities :

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 120 employees, including hourly and salaried staff.
• Manage full-cycle payroll functions, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
• Input and verify timesheets from six different locations into the designated payroll system.
• Assist in handling payroll adjustments for employees exiting the organization.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure payroll accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and receivable tasks when required.
• Provide training and guidance to ensure smooth onboarding and operations within payroll.
• Reconcile payroll reports and maintain accurate financial records.
• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient processing and reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information at all times.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing, including full-cycle payroll.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Familiarity with accounting software systems and related functions.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with employees and management.
