Senior IT Solutions Architect

The Advanced Digital Solutions and Data Group is looking to add a Senior IT Solutions Architecture Advisor to its team. We are seeking a qualified professional with over 10 years of relevant experience. The selected candidate will be recognized for their technical expertise and interpersonal skills acting as a Consultant. The Advanced Digital Solutions and Data Group is currently carrying out several projects in the areas of intelligent mobility public transit systems electrification and energy management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide consulting support to internal and external clients
• Understand business objectives strategic priorities and operational challenges
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear prioritized requirements
• Assess the impacts of IT technology solutions (costs risks timelines benefits)
• Explain complex concepts in accessible language
• Produce clear deliverables including recommendations diagrams and roadmaps
• Develop solution and system architectures considering technological platforms
• Contribute to the specification of IT solutions to be acquired
• Certify and ensure the quality of solution projects
• Present produced deliverables to stakeholders
• Evaluate and analyze emerging technologies
• Support clients throughout system development and project work validating systems

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science or Information Technology Software Engineering Automated Production Engineering or other equivalent training
• Relevant and significant experience in solutions architecture
• Experience in consulting
• Strong general technical knowledge across multiple areas of expertise (IT infrastructure software development data engineering cybersecurity cloud computing) to maintain a comprehensive global perspective
• Bilingual (English/French spoken and written): bilingualism is an essential requirement for this position as it enables effective collaboration with our diverse stakeholders
• Membership in the OIQ as a Professional Engineer (asset)
