Schedule

Assess
The Registered Practical Nurse is responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments and engaging in the various treatment modalities provided in this acute, active Inpatient Mental Health Unit which is a Schedule 1 facility. 48_ Customer Care Created with Sketch.

As a Nurse in this progressive interprofessional environment, you will utilize your skills in assessment and supportive counseling with a diverse patient population. Qualifications
Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses. Current BCLS certification. A minimum of 2 years of recent acute psychiatric nursing experience. Completion of Medication Administration certification. Completion of Physical Assessment certification with proven excellent physical assessment skills. Knowledge
Knowledge of Canadian Standards for Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act of Ontario. Knowledge of Personal Health Information Protection Act.
