Description
- Hiring of all staff, managing the team by promoting teamwork, as well as leading, training and mentoring.
- Implement policies and procedures to achieve high levels of excellence in all aspects of food, beverage, guest experience and day-to-day operations.
- Develop operational policies and procedures that drive revenues, service quality, day-to-day efficiency and best practices to reduce / maintain cost.
- Ensure food and beverage initiatives are coordinated with all stakeholders.
- A thorough knowledge of provincial and local regulations for food and beverage.
- Ensures all accounting policies and procedures are completed in a timely manner, responsible for purchases, costs, variances and implementing corrective actions to the budget.
- Ensure that all HR practices and policies are adhered to.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years experience in an upscale restaurant management position and proven ability to manage and maintain the highest level of service excellence and profitability
- Strong knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
- Proven ability to increase sales and drive traffic
- Strong leadership and mentorship skills, communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
