Road Service Technician – Ottawa

Reporting to the Road Service Foreman, as the Road Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing various clients within the Ottawa / Gatineau region. You will be the main contact in the area for repairs and maintenance of their Merlo telescopic equipment.

Main responsibilities :

• Employ diagnostic methodologies to determine repairs required over the telephone and on-site;
• Explain diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals;
• Efficiently plan and manage repairs and scheduled maintenance;
• Complete the various service documents clearly within the prescribed time;
• Order parts needed to repair and maintain equipment;
• Follow procedures for Warranty work and parts crediting;
• Promote Manulift values to existing and potential clients;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
