Position : IT Systems Administrator
Location : Port Coquitlam (Head Office)
Onsite
Pay range : $80,000 – $100,000, based on performance and experience
We are seeking a highly skilled and security-conscious Systems Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for maintaining and securing our organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud services. You’ll play a key role in implementing security best practices, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to incidents; ensuring our systems are resilient, secure, and reliable.

What You’ll Do
Develop, implement and maintain security policies and procedures, including Azure security best practicesImplement and enforce system hardening standards and patch management proceduresManage and monitor computer systems, applications, and networks, including On-Premises and Azure IaaS and PaaS infrastructureTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including those related to Office 365 and Azure servicesEnsure data backups are performed regularly and securely, including On-Premises, Office 365 and Azure backupsAssist in managing firewalls, endpoint protection, and intrusion detection / prevention systemsMaintain clear documentation of systems, procedures, and configurationsCollaborate with other teams to support business operationsEducate staff on security best practices and contribute to awareness initiativesWhat You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology, or at least 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, including experience supporting Azure, Office 365, and endpoint managementProven experience and knowledge of core Microsoft products such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and Remote Desktop ServicesExperience with security tools such as antivirus, EDR, IDS / IPS and vulnerability scannersExperience with Azure services such as VMs, Azure AD, Azure Networking, App Services, and Azure StorageExperience with Office 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and TeamsExperience with endpoint management such as device management, software deployment, and policy configurationExperience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-VFamiliarity with identity and access management, MFA, and privileged access controlsKnowledge of networking protocols and security best practicesExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAt Lordco Auto Parts, we are committed to fostering a culture that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and prioritizes inclusion in every aspect of our organization.
