Location : Various locations across Ontario

Exercise Physiologists assess design and implement exercise programs to improve patients health and fitness levels often working with those with chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct fitness assessments and evaluate patients exercise needs.
  • Develop personalized exercise programs tailored to individual goals and conditions.
  • Monitor patients during exercise sessions and provide guidance on proper techniques.
  • Educate patients on the importance of physical activity for health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate exercise into patient care plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field.
  • Certification from a recognized body (e.g. ACSM NSCA).
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire patients.
