CPA Public Practice

Job Description

Our client is seeking a CPA with public practice experience to join their growing accounting team in Red Deer Alberta . This role is ideal for a designated CPA with a couple of years of experience who is comfortable working independently and handling a variety of client files across tax and assurance-related engagements.

This is an on-site role in a smaller office environment offering meaningful client exposure and responsibility from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Compilation (Notice to Reader) financial statements
• Prepare corporate and personal income tax returns
• Assist with tax planning and compliance for owner-managed businesses
• Communicate directly with clients and respond to day-to-day inquiries
• Work collaboratively with team members across offices as needed
• Manage multiple files and deadlines during busy season
