The instructor will plan, organize and implement an instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages learners to develop and fulfil their academic potential.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education

The ECE Instructor should bring the following qualifications to this position :

• Recognized relevant four-year degree (Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Child and Youth Studies, Bachelor’s in Child Development).
• Two years’ recent and relevant experience working in an Early Learning and Childcare Education setting as an Early Childhood Educator / Teacher / ECE Instructor.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills (both oral and written).
• Effective instructional ability.
• Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e‑mail, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
• Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
• Demonstrates Valuing Diversity.
