The Role

BGC is looking fora highly motivated and organizedOffice Administratorto join ideal candidate would be a self starter who values teamwork takes initiative and takes pride in their this office-basedroleyou will be responsible for supportingarange ofadministrativeneedsandcollaboratingwith your willreport to BGCsAdministration TeamLead and theVancouverOffice Managers and willbe working in a fast-paced dynamicconsultingenvironment alongside our Engineers Geoscientists and otherBGCteams.

Responsibilities

  • Reception support includinganswering phones receiving vendors and visitors printing bindingand scanning
  • Liaise with building management and local vendors for repairs maintenance and security
  • Support coordination of domestic and international shipments
  • Organize catering for office functions and meetings
  • Maintain office organization various office equipment and supplies inventory
  • Prepare meeting rooms and setup of audio-video equipment
  • Coordinatetraveland accommodationfor staff and clients
  • Prepare and coordinate for the onboarding of new staff including preparing and organizing workspaces for new hires
  • Assistwith planning office and company social eventsand meetings
  • Support theVancouverOffice Managersoffice staff and greater BGC Administrative Team as needed
  • Perform other tasks as

Required Education Experience & Competencies

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Reliable adaptable and able to pivot with changing priorities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Collaborative approach to working in a team environment
  • Proficient in MS Office products and Adobe Acrobat
  • Comfortable with learning new technology and software
  • Excellent verbal written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to workbothindependently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to promoting office and team culture and values
  • Position Requirements

    Travel and Vaccination

    The estimated base salary range for this position is $ 50000 -$ 60000 CAD per annum however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge skills and experience. BGCs compensation package also includes a discretionary bonus plan training allowance and comprehensive medical and dental plan.
