Laboratory Technician B - SCAL Lab

Summary :

The company is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented SCAL Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a variety of special core analysis experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

The company is a leading provider of advanced reservoir characterization services to the energy industry. Our state-of-the-art SCAL lab is dedicated to conducting cutting-edge research and analysis to optimize reservoir performance.

Duties :

• Conduct a range of SCAL experiments to evaluate reservoir rock properties
• Operate and maintain SCAL laboratory equipment
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Utilize various shop and hand tools for SCAL experiment setup and sample preparation
• Contribute to a safe and organized laboratory environment
• Compile, verify and validate accurate data records
• Perform basic analysis.
• Report results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Work Environment : This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. PPE is required where applicable.
