We are looking to have a bilingual (French / English) Manager, Supplier Performance join our team! This position can be held remotely from anywhere in Canada however the work schedule will align with standard Eastern Time zone business hours.

SUMMARY

The Manager, Supplier Performance  is responsible for overseeing supplier performance and relationships across various service categories and Client Accounts, ensuring alignment with organizational and client objectives. Acting as the primary point of contact for Supplier Performance and Relationship Management, the Vendor Manager will engage with internal stakeholders and client account teams to optimize value from supplier partnerships. Key duties include implementing a comprehensive Supplier Performance and Relationship Management program, managing supplier performance through data-driven metrics and regular business reviews, and addressing action plans. Additionally, the Manager, Supplier Performance will support various continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier processes and performance. This role also involves generating and presenting regular reports to track supplier performance, performance metrics, and SRM initiatives, ensuring accuracy and actionable insights for both internal and client-facing audiences.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supplier Performance & Relationship Management

  • Manage overall operational supplier performance and relationships for one or more service categories for all centralized accounts
  • Act as main Point of Contact for Supplier Performance & Relationship Management for one or more Client Accounts
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and client account teams to maximize value from supplier relationships, ensuring that supplier contributions align with both client and organizational goals
  • Implement and act as SME for the BGIS Supplier Performance and Relationship Management program within assigned responsibilities, including the BGIS Vendor Scorecard
  • Conduct Supply Base Segmentation
  • Facilitate and manage cross-client Supplier Business Reviews, including communication of expectations, collection and preparation of data, maintenance of action registers and documentation
  • Work with suppliers to resolve process and performance issues
  • Document, manage and track non-conformance action plans for suppliers in assigned service categories across all centralized Client Accounts
  • Assess Supplier Key Performance Indicators ensuring contractually agreed upon performance incentives are assessed, actioned and documented
  • Manage supplier escalations and dispute resolution process
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned Service Categories and implementation of the BGIS Supplier Performance and Relationship Management Program

Continuous Improvement

  • Implement initiatives to improve supplier management processes, supporting both operational efficiency and business goals
  • Support the development, maintenance and execution of the continuous improvement roadmap for Supplier Performance and Relationship Management to foster stronger supplier partnerships and enhance performance
  • Support continuous improvement and implementation of standard performance metrics to measure supplier performance in accordance with overall company goals
  • In collaboration with the Supplier Support and Training Team – ensure that suppliers receive appropriate training, clear communication, process documentation and support
  • Reporting and Performance Tracking

  • Generate and deliver regular internal and client-facing reports that track supplier performance, SRM initiatives, and key metrics.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting, ensuring that reports are accurate, timely, and actionable. Special projects as assigned.

  • KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • College diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement or similar roles, experience in Facilities Management industry considered a strong asset
  • Proven experience developing and managing successful relationships with vendors / suppliers with a focus on performance management and development.
  • Understanding of contract law including the proven ability to review complex services contracts
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills in English, bilingualism in French is a strong asset
  • Experience managing complex supplier relationships and implementing SRM programs and continuous improvement initiatives an asset
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in delivering presentations and managing executive relationships
  • Advanced data analysis skills, experience in Power BI considered an asset

  • Professional designation in Supply Chain Management or equivalent is an asset (SCMP / CPP, ISM).
