Job Description
Join the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course team and help create memorable experiences for our guests in the stunning backdrop of Banff’s natural beauty. As a member of our Golf Operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable golfing experience.

Successful applicants will be matched to available positions based on previous relevant work experience, area of studies and the Golf Course operational requirements. Leadership opportunities may be discussed during the interview based on skills and qualifications.
Preference will be given to those that are able to commit for the full season, April 21 to October 15, 2026.
Starting Rate : $18.84 per hour - $19.91 per hour, depending on the position. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years.
What You Will Be Doing
Reporting structure is dependent on the position, such as the Golf Operations Assistant Manager, Golf Group & Revenue Manager or Golf Operations Manager. Each position has specific job duties and qualifications that will be discussed with successful applicants during the interview process.
Retail Attendant – Provides exceptional guest service while managing daily golf shop operations, including check‑ins, retail sales, and rentals. Ensures the shop is well‑organized, accurately processes transactions, and supports an outstanding guest experience through product knowledge and attention to detail.Golf Ambassador – Ensures every guest and member enjoys a seamless, memorable golf experience through warm welcomes, personalized service, and expert course knowledge. Manages the first tee and on‑course flow, providing guidance, maintaining pace of play, and delivering exceptional hospitality throughout the round.Guest Services Attendant – Creates a welcoming and seamless start to each golfer’s experience by greeting guests, assisting with check‑in, and providing equipment and course orientation. Ensures all facilities, carts, and practice areas are clean, organized, and ready, delivering friendly and attentive service throughout the guest’s visit.Cart / Range Attendant – Supports daily golf operations by maintaining the cart fleet, driving range, and departure areas in top condition. Ensures carts and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for guests while delivering friendly, efficient service throughout the golf experience.Reservation Agent – Provides exceptional service by assisting guests with tee‑time bookings, inquiries, and modifications while maximizing course occupancy. Ensures accuracy in all reservations and communicates clearly with guests and team members.Qualifications
Valid Class 5 Driver’s LicenseAble to work flexible hours (early morning, evening and occasional split shifts)Ability to work well within both a team setting and an independent setting with limited supervisionInterest in becoming or have already entered the CPGA Apprentice or Candidate programProficient in computer skills (reservation and POS systems)Knowledge of the game of golf and its principles surrounding etiquetteHighly motivated and guest driven with a passion to continually exceed expectations and anticipate needsRetail Opportunities – Previous retail and / or merchandising experience is an assetJob Perks & Benefits
