We are looking for an Ad Ops Specialist to manage the setup and activation of onsite / app, email, and offsite campaigns. In this role, you will execute media campaigns across both Empire-owned and external channels, ensuring ads display correctly and troubleshooting any issues that arise. You will monitor campaign performance through KPIs, optimize for effectiveness, and collaborate with UX teams on site, app, and email changes, while managing relationships with ad serving vendors to resolve any issues.

This position will be based in our office in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. We will also provide relocation assistance for qualified candidates interested in making Nova Scotia their new home.

Here’s where you’ll be focusing :

  • Manage setup and activation of onsite / app, email, and offsite campaigns
  • Execute media campaigns across Empire owned channels and offsite channels (i.e., using GAM to create ads)
  • Ensure ads are displaying correctly and troubleshoot where necessary
  • Monitor campaign performance through KPIs and optimize for campaign effectiveness
  • Ensure campaigns achieve expectations and customer satisfaction is achieved
  • Collaborate with UX teams on changes to site, app, and emails
  • Manage relationships with ad serving vendors (e.g., selection, resolving issues)

What you have to offer :

  • 3+ years hands-on experience working with ad tech
  • Experience with ad serving tools (e.g., GAM360)
  • Experience working at or closely with advertising agencies and with promotional advertising on retail sites
  • Experience activating campaigns (incl. offsite channels)
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, and communication skills
  • Vendor relationship management
  • Hands on knowledge of different media buying platforms
  • LI-Hybrid
