We are recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper / Administrator to join our team to support our client.
RESPONSIBILITIES : Bookkeeper
- Recording Financial Transactions; accurately record all income expenses, and financial activities using Sage 300 accounting software
- Maintaining General Ledger; ensure the accuracy of the general ledger by reconciling accounts and correcting discrepancies
- Preparing Financial Statement; generate month-end closings, trial balance, and present to internal stakeholders
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable; track invoices, payments, and overdue accounts while maintaining strong vendor and client relationships
- Managing bank reconciliations; reconcile bank statements with internal records to identify and resolve discrepancies
- Weekly payroll processing; manage payroll operations, including calculating wages, withholding taxes, and issuing payment, ROE's, T-4's
- Maintain proper job costing for all production jobs
- Tax Preparation; collaborate with accountants to prepare and file taxes and government remittances
- Administer benefit plan

3 years of Bookkeeping experience. Preference given to candidates with manufacturing experienceCollege Diploma in AccountingSelf-starter, solid communication, organization and customer service skillsProficient with Sage 300Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel & OutlookFamiliar with ESA (Employment Standards Act)COMPENSATION & BENEFITS :
