Scheduling Coordinator

Comfort Keepers Orangeville is seeking a dedicated and highly organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be confident on the phone, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and have a strong ability to build relationships with both employees and clients while managing t he schedules for PSWs and clients.

Comfort Keepers is a leading in‑home care provider supporting seniors and adults who require assistance or companionship to live comfortably and safely in their own homes.

Position Details Hours : 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM, Monday to Friday On‑Call : Rotational weekends and statutory holidays Location : In-office, Orangeville, Ontario Salary : $43,000 – $45,000 annually (flexible based on experience) Benefits : Available after three (3) months of employment Key Responsibilities Lead and manage scheduling of Personal Support Workers (PSWs) for private client homes and government‑funded cluster sites Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries, changes, and staff call‑offs Ensure accurate, timely schedules and secure appropriate coverage to meet client care needs Collaborate with clients, families, care coordinators, administrators, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery Participate in the rotational after‑hours on‑call schedule to support urgent client and employee matters Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new employees Utilize scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office tools to manage schedules and communication Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager What You Bring Minimum 1 year of scheduling experience, preferably in a health care environment Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills Exceptional customer service and professional phone presence Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling / ERP systems (or ability to learn quickly) Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities under time pressure Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Police Check Why Join Comfort Keepers?
