Description de posteWilling to relocate General manufacturing Manufacture Machine set-up Fixture manufacturer Estimating Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables Repair machine tools and parts Set up and adjust production machineries / tools Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers) Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments Proposal preparation Prepare tenders and quotations Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations Estimate type and quantity of materials and labour required for production, construction and other projects Welding experience Machinist Trade Certification Machinist Red Seal Endorsment Micrometers Calipers Calibre Gauges Verniers Mastercam CAD / CAM Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software Automatic lathes Broaching machine Drill presses Milling machines Sawing machine Screw machines Surface grinders Tapping machines Tool grinders Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Forklift Public transportation is available Ability to work independently Fast-paced environment Tight deadlines Repetitive tasks Physically demanding Standing for extended periods Attention to detail Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Accurate Dependability Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Flexibility Team player Quick learner Dental plan Health care plan Vision care benefits Bonus Free parking available Learning / training paid by employer
