Position Overview

Manager Production – Lead a skilled team that works on track construction projects, driving safety, service, and productivity. Railway experience is preferred but 5+ years in thermite or flash butt welding is also ideal. A solid understanding of collective bargaining agreements (CBA) is essential for managing workflows effectively.

Position Accountabilities

• Mentor an average of 45 direct reports to improve efficiency and hold accountability when needed.
• Review planned capital work, confirm material, and execution requirements.
• Ensure CPKC regulatory compliance for respective track projects.
• Develop and implement work processes and changes with your team that achieve continuous improvement.
• Promote and ensure adherence to CPKC policies, safety practices, and procedures across all team members and direct reports, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Evaluate planned capital work, validate material readiness, and confirm execution strategies to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment with organizational objectives.
