Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is one of the leading importers and distributors of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions of the world. To fulfill our operation needs, we are currently hiring for a Part-time Senior Truck Driver (Class 3 License with Air-brake) to make deliveries for our BC division.

Position Summary:

The Part-time Senior Truck Driver (Class 3 License with Air-brake) will make frequent deliveries. This role involves frequent movement and lifting. Applicants must hold a Class 3 driver’s license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The driver will be operating a Tandem axle straight truck to deliver goods to restaurants and retail stores in BC Interior areas including Penticton, Kelowna, Vernon, and Kamloops.

Working Hours:

• Saturday and Sunday
• Start working at 4:00am

Responsibilities:

• Operate a tandem axle straight truck safely in accordance with the company’s delivery standard operating procedures and the Motor Vehicle Act regulations.
• Deliver to retail stores and restaurants.
• Move goods inside customers’ premises (kitchen/storage).
• Check inventory against invoices with customers.
• Collect cheques and cash where needed.

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

• Class 3 driver’s license with air-brake endorsement and a clean driving abstract.
• Ability to operate a tandem axle straight truck safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and Motor Vehicle Act regulations.
• Knowledge of BC Interior areas.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Assets/ Nice-to-Haves:

• At least 2 years experience operating Tandem axle straight truck
