What is the Test Developer role about?

We are a startup company created in 2018 seeking to disrupt the established century-old industry of electrical motor control. We are based in downtown Montreal (H3J 1S9) where the majority of our team operates. We are scaling up our team and are seeking a few amazing individuals who can share our vision of building a fantastic product that will save energy and be used by millions. You should be passionate and knowledgeable about :

• Bachelor’s degree with STEM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math)
• Minimum of 3 years of LabVIEW code development for measurement equipment control
• Minimum of 2 years of programming experience with C++, C#, or Python
• Familiarity with Linux, CMake, and bash
• Experience developing and implementing automatic software test solutions for hardware.
• Understanding principles of M2M communication
• Familiarity with Electrical Standards for machine wiring
• Experience using test equipment and instruments, including DMM, Oscilloscopes, and Data Acquisition Systems
• Hardware knowledge – good at Schematic reading, and hardware troubleshooting
• Excellent technical writing abilities
• Certified LabVIEW Developer is desirable.
• NI TestStand experience is desirable.
• CAD experience is an asset.
