The daily tasks of the role include the repair and testing of the endoscopes using an inspection microscope, calipers, various custom and standard hand tools (including but not limited to tweezers, small scale pliers, precision screwdrivers, pin vises, scalpels, etc...), as well as various industry specific testing devices and jigs.
The company being an ISO13485 certified company, each technician is expected to follow directives and processes to ensure consistency of our service and repair quality.
What you must have :
Good knowledge and understanding of English in a technical environment.
Training and / or work experience in a technical field, experience with small scale mechanics is a plus.
Experience working with various hand tools such as but not limited to tweezers, small scale pliers, precision screwdrivers, pin vises, scalpels and soldering iron, as well as an inspection microscope and calipers.
Excellent dexterity, visual acuity, coordination as well as mechanical and technical skills are a must.
Knowledge of endoscopes, biomedical training or experience in a healthcare environment are not required but a plus.
Salary / Rate Range : $41,000 - $72,500
