Our client, a Top 5 Bank in Canada is looking to hire an Automation Associate to their team for an initial 12-month contract with a possibility of extension and conversion. This role is currently hybrid, 2 days per week in Toronto.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

  • Create automated processes using a variety of tools to drive operational efficiency.
  • Modify existing production scripts enable fully automated execution.
  • Creation of curated data tables to assist in regular reporting.
  • Understanding of end-to-end data flow.
  • Document processes, including dependencies and inputs / output.

Qualifications :

  • 3+ years proven experience working with SQL language and large datasets.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with large datasets, both structured and unstructured data, using programming language such as SAS, SQL or related
  • Experienced user of the SAS Macro language and UNIX command line
  • Knowledge of financial services and asset management (mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, etc.) an asset
  • Experience with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau experience as well.
