QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Grade 10 and completion of a recognized Activity Assistant Program, plus two (2) years of recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid BC Class 4 driver's license (unrestricted). Registered with the BC Care Aide registry.
Skills And Abilities
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Deal with others effectively.
- Physically carry out the duties of the position.
- Teach.
- Organize work.
- Operate related equipment, such as a 11-25 passenger, lift equipped van.
