We are looking for a Payroll and Benefits Supervisor (15 to 18 month contract) to join the People and Culture team at our Head Office located in Mississauga, ON !
As a trusted member of our People & Culture team, you will be responsible for supervising the operation of the Payroll, Benefit and Pension administration of all employees across Canada.

What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise the end-to-end bi-weekly payroll process along with timekeeping activities and records while maintaining compliance with all regulatory government agencies for pay practices and tax payments / filings, as well as adherence to all internal policies and procedures.Provide a high level of client service to employees and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.Provide guidance to staff regarding functional, procedural, and technical issues.Comply with federal and provincial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions, including development of new processes.Supervise administration of benefits and retirement plan for employees.Maintain payroll and benefits policies and guidelines and document workflows for enhanced controls and data integrity.Work closely with the People & Culture team to maintain accurate employee records and support objectives that create a positive employee experience.Assist with disability management and workers compensation claims processes.What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements :
PCP or CPM certification required.1 to 3 years of experience in supervisory role with direct reports.5 years of experience processing multi-provincial payroll.Experience with Dayforce Payroll, Onboarding and HR modules.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organization and planning skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure to manage important and time-sensitive priorities.Excellent problem-solving skills.Tech-savvy, including Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.Bilingual (French) is an asset.We passionately believe that our inclusive and diverse team is key to the success of our business.
