Overview of the role :

As a Production Worker you will be working in on the Production floor completing various tasks related to successful dairy production. This position offers up to 36 hours per week. Our facility operates 24 / 7; on-call shift work is required. Full time opportunities will be posted and awarded by seniority as they become available.

Schedule : This position offers up to four (4) 9-hour shifts per week for a 36-hour work week. We operate 24 / 7 and you will work various on-call shifts that may lead to full-time permanent opportunities. We post and award our full-time positions by seniority.

Salary : Starting $29.60 per hour

How you will make contributions that matter :

Participate and learn through in-house on the job training

Operation of production equipment following all food safety procedures

Perform manual lifting stacking and pulling (up to approx. 50lbs)

Perform various tasks using an electric pallet jack

Participate in the setup takedown and sanitation of all parts and equipment when required

Working with and near sanitizing chemicals (i.e. high concentrations of acids and alkalis)

Perform other duties as assigned

Operate production equipment used in the dairy manufacturing process

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications :

Are physically able to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive movements

Can lift up to 50LBS on a regular basis and perform physically demanding tasks

Operate electric power jack counterbalance & high reach forklifts

Experience is preferred but not required

Can work in a temperate and / or refrigerated environment of 2C

Already have experience in production / warehousing (asset but not required)

Learn quickly and you are responsible for your own work

Like working as a team and communicate well with your colleagues
